Principal’s Message

School PrincipalFáilte romhaibh go dtí Scoil Bhríde, Eglantine.

As principal of the school here in Eglantine it gives me great pleasure to welcome you on behalf of the entire school staff to our website.

Our school was founded in 1959 in the original Eglantine House.  In 2009 we celebrated 50 years of educating and guiding the young girls of our local community and beyond.

In our school we believe that we are an integral part of the community.  Our friendly, welcoming atmosphere ensures that, all who engage with our school get a true understanding of what being part of ‘Eglantine’ as we are more commonly known, really is.

Our school endeavours to provide as broad a schedule of activities for our girls to give each child every opportunity to develop their own unique talents.  We expect every child to engage fully with the curriculum as our dedicated teachers and staff work together with parents/guardians to ensure each individual is afforded the opportunity to learn and grow.

The eight years spent in Eglantine will afford each child to experience a broad range of sport, music, drama, art both within school hours and also at extracurricular level.  Thanks to our extremely dedicated staff, our Board of Management and our wonderful Parents’ Association this is all possible.

We hope you find our website informative and should you need any additional information regarding our school please do not hesitate to contact us on the above phone number or email address.

 Le meas,

 Mr. Eoin Kennedy – Principal
